Hang on, you say he's doing well considering what he has to play with well he has, Zigic, plays for country, Fahey, plays for country, Wood, plays for country, Beausejour, plays for country, Burke who has played for his country, Gomis who has played for his country etc etc etc

We have a good team but for some reason they can't hold a lead and panic when faced with a period of strong play from the opposition.

Now I am not saying CH has got it wrong but the recent bad run has shown that we are lacking something and it needs sorting.

Look at the nations they play for Bear; Serbia, Ireland, New Zealand, Chile, Scotland and Senegal. The only average teams there are Serbia and Chile, the rest are complete rubbish. Our problems are blatant, the central midfield area and our finishing, if that was up to scratch nobody would be mentioning Hughton and co in a bad name.

Thats as may be but they are no push overs and have lots of experience playing at senior levels and should know ho to hold a lead.

I think he probably knows this (well he does), but he has got very little or no room to maneuver to bring players in, even loan player from the likes of Prem clubs would want a large percentage of their wages paid. January will only be worse.

Some of you need to make your minds up. One day we have the best players in the league, the next making excuses for CH's poor tactics by saying he has nothing to work with.

I think we only a couple of players short for the Championship and that would be in the middle of the park, and a striker as it stands.

I know what you mean Woodbine but I think that at the beginning of the season the general feeling was we were loosing all our good players and that because of our finacial problems we were not getting good players in return. Well CH did a fantastic job with who he got in and they have proved themselves more than capable of playing at the top level with the way they have played in the Europa. Well as a result when they loose after being a goal to the good it rankles.

These are good players and they need to understand that and get playing at the top of their game week in week out.

most of them are subs for their country to be fair, and to say ch has plenty of quality is unfair, he is doing an amazing job in stupid circumstances
IN CHRIS WE TRUST :blues:
p.s., off topic, but im 50% irish and i think your underestimating ireland here, they are in euro 2012, serbia aren't, so "complete rubbish" is a bit harsh

my worry is he is one dimensional

If CH is one dimensional, I dread to think what Eck is! A plank? :LMAO:

I think you will find that even a plank is 3 dimensional!

1 dimensional is a theoretical proposition only.

Anyway. I suggest CH and his team will be more fairly judged on next year's performances (assuming we have some stability and moderate finacing by then).

I wouldnt question CH's tactics but I would if I was him give N'Daw a start in the league with Gomis ,Mutch or Fahey. I like Spector but I think heis a lot better a right back

I'd question why we persist in Fahey and Spector in the middle.

Now at the end of the day, we can always get back to the age-old saying that only the manager sees them in training - and yes, that is true - maybe Gomis & N'Daw aren't doing so well in training.

But other than that, its clear our midfield isn't working.

We also are having problems with holding leads. We've drawn 3 and lost 3 from winning positions (only Cov have as bad a record in the division).

Away from home is our achillies heel at the moment. Now we have played some tougher sides (Saints, Middlesboro, Blackpool, Cardiff & Hull).
But we have also struggled to have sustained pressure in several away games too. We were lucky to win at Forest in honesty (they fell apart), then we had to real pressure at Reading, Cardiff or Boro.

Not sure exactly what it is, but CH does need to address our away form. We are capable of better I am sure, and maybe we will find a bit of away form with some of the games coming up in Palace, Peterboro and Millwall - which we must see as all winnable.

I think this is where we are.

We have a top 6 TEAM.

But, we have a top 14 SQUAD.

Then we should ditch the substitutes and fly up the league.
